Speedie Computer Systems started life in 1992 specialising in the supply of spare parts for ICL and Fujitsu computers to maintenance companies.
In 1994 we expanded and started selling computer systems, printers and parts to the general public, schools and the trade.
We believed that we could bring the high levels of service and expertise demanded by our maintenance company customers to all our customers. This continues to be our aim. We are of the firm belief that the only way to succeed is to exceed our customers expectations both in terms of value for money and service.
Our product range is wide and varied, from mains leads to main frames, computers to CD-ROMs, UPS units to upgrades, mice to monitors. The systems we supply are at an affordable level, which can be customised to suit your specific requirements.
We encourage a friendly and straightforward service, preferring not to baffle our customers with technical jargon. Our extensive knowledge and a fast efficient service support our value for money philosophy.
Our customer's are wide and diverse, varying from the first time computer user, to entire networks for schools and businesses, other computer companies and Plc's. We have supplied customers all over the UK, Ireland, IOM, Europe and even the Outer Hebrides.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Customers who return goods under our RTB policy are encouraged to re-pack the goods back in the box they were sent out in and use an insured courier as no responsibilty can be taken for goods untill they are back with us.
If your item is DOA (dead on arrival), we will issue a full refund or send a replacement unit at no extra cost to the customer. The re-processing fee will also be waived as no re-processing is required for dead items. All DOA equipmentment WILL be thoroughly inspected to verify it being at fault
